Hello, our names are  Mike and Kassey Miller! We are the operating owners of Double M Garage Doors. We have a 14 year old daughter, Jovi and two dogs Roxy & Shuggy. We moved out to Pecan Plantation (Granbury), from Northwest Ft. Worth about 2 years ago!  We would like to thank you for taking the time to get to know us. The main reason we moved out here was to have that small town feel, especially with a daughter going in to middle school. We are very pleased with our choice.

    Prior to the pandemic, Mike had a full time career in the trucking industry.  Hauling stage equipment was their main gig. As we all know, that came to a halt, overnight. Before the trucking industry, he installed and repaired residential and commercial doors for one of the largest overhead door companies in Fort Worth. He did that for about 9 years, 5 of those years were spent servicing commercial doors.

    Ironically, in the months leading up to the pandemic we had been discussing quitting our careers and going in to business for ourselves. For the past year in Mike's spare time, he would do jobs in our neighborhood in the evenings and on weekends to make extra money and help out our fellow neighbors. That's when we discovered how desperately PP, and surrounding areas were in need of a great, garage door technician. The stories we heard were very disheartening. People were getting ripped off, issues were not getting fixed, technicians were selling customers stuff they didn't even need, if they showed up you're one of the lucky one's. People would only call the garage door guy out if they absolutely had to! We saw an opportunity to change that stereotype around. To actually live here, and see outsiders come in and take advantage of our fellow neighbors, was not going to happen on our watch. Not in the garage door industry anyway. We strive to have HAPPY, REPEAT costumers. We are not a fly-by-night company just out to make a quick buck. We are in this for the long haul.         

     As we were weighing out the pros and cons of starting a business, Mike got laid-off due to the pandemic. We saw it as sign to move forward with our dream of owning our own business, and serving the the wonderful people of Granbury with integrity, exceptional customer service, and honesty. Our goal is to have lifelong, happy costumers.

    Luckily, doing jobs in our neighborhood for the last year helped us establish a name for ourselves. The residents of Pecan Plantation are wonderful people. Because of them, we were able to start this journey strong. 

Double M Garage doors officially opened up for business April 1st 2020. We look forward to being your, "garage door guy" for life.
